BILOXI, Miss (Associated Press) – Regulators have rejected proposals for two new casino sites on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Gulfport Mayor Billy Hewes had said the sites don’t meet requirements of a state law that limits state-regulated casinos to sites touching water along the Mississippi River or the Gulf Coast.

Authorities gave the all-clear Thursday morning following a reported bomb threat at Tulsa’s Osage Casino, which prompted an evacuation. Dispatchers say the Osage County Sheriff’s Office called around 1 a.m for Tulsa Police assistance.
